Your Opinion Matters! Submit Your Suggestions and Proposals for the Chișinău 2040 General Urban Plan

The Chișinău City Hall invites residents, professionals, and all interested stakeholders to actively contribute to the update process of the General Urban Plan of the City of Chișinău 2040 by submitting their opinions, comments, suggestions, and proposals regarding the Background Studies subject to Public Consultation CP-04. On 21 October 2026, the fourth public consultation meeting (CP-04) took place, marking the conclusion of the series of public discussions dedicated to the 12 Background Studies. However, the process of collecting proposals and recommendations remains open until 4 November 2026.

CP-04 | Conclusion of the Series of Public Consultations Dedicated to the Background Studies of the Chișinău 2040 General Urban Plan

The Chișinău City Hall informs the public that on Wednesday, 21 October 2026, public discussions were held as part of the fourth round of public consultations (CP-04) on the update of the General Urban Plan of the City of Chișinău – Chișinău 2040 General Urban Plan. The event marked the conclusion of the series of public consultations dedicated to the 12 Background Studies. During the consultation, the main findings and directions of the Historic Centre and Built Heritage, Natural Heritage, and Environmental Protection, Natural and Anthropogenic Hazards Background Studies were discussed. These studies focus on the protection and enhancement of built and natural heritage, as well as the identification of environmental factors and risks that must be taken into account in the urban planning process.

Today, 21 October 2026, starting at 1:00 p.m., Public Consultation CP-04 will take place at the Buiucani District Administration Office, as part of the update process of the General Urban Plan of the Municipality of Chișinău 2040. The event marks the conclusion of the series of public consultations dedicated to the Background Studies. Following the presentation and discussion of 9 studies during the first three public consultations (CP-01, CP-02, and CP-03), the fourth meeting, CP-04, will focus on the review and discussion of the remaining 3 studies, completing the series of 12 Background Studies subject to public consultation at this stage.
